Princess … I Think Not! by Ashley Robbins

***HOLY CRAPOLA, THIS AUTHOR IS ONLY 17??!!***
This books blurb caught my attention first. It was simple, yet intriguing, and as I was wanting a light read that was a little more YA/NA, I snapped it up. And boy did this deliver.
The only thing I found distracting was a few grammatical errors, but if you're not a grammar nazi like me, then you probably won't notice ;-)
Those few things in no way detracted from the story, and I found myself devouring this book in one day! I ended up staying up WAY past my bedtime to finish this, and now I am so ready for the second book, which is forecast to release in January. EEEP!!
We meet Bailey King, a high school rebel with a soft spot for the less fortunate, and she is fiercely protective of her friends. She gets the shock of her life when she discovers that her dearly departed father was, in fact, heir to the thrown of a village in Ireland.
With her grandmother, the queen, fighting a losing battle with cancer, Bailey must decide whether or not to accept the crown, and her place as princess, or keep her ordinary life with her friends.
But wait, there's more! Not one, but two hunky guys have the hots for young Bailey, and she has feelings for them both as well. Let the angst begin!
While no romantic decisions are made in this book, it makes you look forward to the second installment that much more.
I give this book 4 1/2 STARS! It has a cliffhanger-ish ending, but gives you enough closure that you're not left giving your e-reader a WTH?! glare once you're done.
Oh, and did I mention that this chick is only 17??? She has a very promising future as a writer ahead of her, as her writing will only improve as she goes along. Congrats girl, and let's get Book 2 soon please!!

SLACKING!

Holy cow! I have been slacking soooo bad on here, but the problem is … I haven't been able to read lately!
Most of you probably don't know that I am also an author, and my muse and I have been on really good terms this year, so I have been able to put out SIX titles as well as THREE others in anthologies. That's NINE titles in under a year!!
Regardless, I am only working on one title right now, so I hope to be able to get a little reading done soon.

P.S. Keep in mind that I only post my 5 STAR reads here. I will never bash an author, or their work on here or any other outlet. These ladies and gentlemen put a lot of work and love into these stories and that is something that I will never put down. I never thought that I would make it as a writer, but here I am, and I am loving every minute of it.

Her Master's Kiss by Vivien Sparx

Holy 5-STAR Hotness!!!
In this complete box set, you meet Renee, a woman who is desperate to win back her boyfriend by becoming a sexual submissive. She finds an add in the paper and enlists the aid of a professional Dom who trains women in the art of being submissives.
Stefan is an enigmatic character. He is also a very troubled man, having lost his wife to cancer. This is what led him to becoming a Dom. He needed the power, to have control over something, and the BDSM lifestyle gave him what he needed…until Renee showed up.
Her innocent eagerness to dive into a lifestyle she'd only ever read about sent warning bells off, but for his own reasons, Stefan agrees.
Their professional relationship quickly turns personal, and neither is really prepared for the emotions running wild between them.
Many adventures and misunderstandings await this couple, from devious ex-lovers, to abusive Doms, you won't want to put this one down!

This was the first title by Vivien Sparx that I have had the pleasure of reading, but it certainly will not be the last.
