It's Complicated by Julia Kent

As the final installment in this crazy-fun series, Julia Kent did not disappoint!

Josie is just as spunky and smart-assed as always, but now she's feeling a bit lost. Suddenly, she's found herself with an abundance of time to herself. Her best friend is finally ready to give birth to her first child with her two lovers, and will no doubt be jumping into her new role as a mother, leaving Josie to find another coffee buddy, but when Josie spots the OB doc on the case all bets are off.

Alex can't believe his luck! The cute little nurse from his grand-father's doctors office is here, in his hospital, and with a laboring woman. That was just the 'in' he needed. Alex made sure that he was consulted on the case, though the midwife was more than competent, and he had every faith in her abilities, it just gave him a reason to be close ... and to talk to the petite woman who had such a firm hold on his attention and other parts of his anatomy. His luck holds out, and he finds himself with the lovely Josie in the on-call room, but they are interrupted when Laura's labor progresses to the home-stretch.

As they continue to see each other, stress and insecurities threaten to wreck their budding relationship while stubborn pride keeps them from fixing the problems. Will they find a way to overcome their pasts and come together to fill the void inside themselves with the love that is ever present with them?

We get to see Laura and her billionaire boyfriends, along with Darla and her two hot musicians as well.
With all this going on, how could this book not be phenomenal?!

Random Acts of Crazy by Julia Kent

After reading the "Her Billionaire's" Series, I just had to get the next two books that continued the story.

This one could actually be read as a stand-alone, and I can't even tell you how many times I found myself laughing out loud to the off the wall things that happened.

As we meet Trevor, he is being picked up by Darla. The only problem? He's standing on the side of the road with a guitar and a collar ... and that's all! Figuring that the odds were against him being armed, Darla takes pity on the nude hitch-hiker and offers him a ride. Next problem? He has no idea where he is or how he got from Boston to Ohio!!

The hilarity ensues as Trevor and Darla's attraction builds amidst snarky remarks and shotgun wielding security guard ex-boyfriends, but when they reach her home, Darla feels the first twinge of embarrassment. Here's a guy from a nice Boston neighborhood, and she lives in a junked-out trailer park in Peters, Ohio, where the most entertaining thing in town is cow-tipping and a old bowling alley.

Trevor can't help but feel drawn to Darla's open/genuine personality and her uncomplicated view of life. When his friend Alex shows up to take him home, Trevor decides he's not quite ready to leave and makes sure that he has just a little more time with the delectable Darla. But what happens when you find your best friend kissing the girl and you can't seem to trudge up the jealousy that you know should be there?

Well, you're just going to have to read to find out. IT'S SO WORTH IT!!!!
Stay tuned for the next story's review, coming up soon!!

Her Billionaires by Julia Kent

A hot firefighter/model, a ski instructor/triathelete, and their both sweet as sugar and as tempting as the original sin? YES PLEASE!!
As a full figured girl myself, these kind of stories always get me going. It's so nice to see a heroine who isn't a size two with perky tits, a pert bottom and a smooth, flat belly.
Real women have curves and cellulite, and all the insecurities that come from carrying them around.
I loved Laura, and had no problem sympathizing with her whatsoever. She lets her whacky friend talk her into trying out an online dating service, where Dylan (Firefighter/model) finds her profile and feels that she may just be the very woman that he and his best bud Mike have been searching for. A woman that could be their third, and hopefully help them to heal and move forward from the loss of their first love.
A major misunderstanding throws Dylan in the doghouse almost immediately, but Mike swoops in and manages to charm the lovely Laura. Too bad they forgot to tell her that they knew each other.
More secrets are revealed and their fragile relationship is yet again put to the test. Too bad this one seemed to be the straw that broke the camels back.
Will they win her back?
You'll have to check this one out for yourself! The first four books are available in a box set for $2.99 on Amazon right now! There are more books in the series, and you bet your sweet butt I'm on my way to get them too!! You'll see my review here once I'm done.
Trust me, check this one out!! Whacky humor, lovable, relatable characters, and hot billionaire best friends? How the hell can you go wrong with that??

The Cowboy, The Cheat, His Ex-Wife, and Her Vibrator by C.C. Coburn

This title had be laughing out loud and I just had to check this book out. SOOO GLAD I DID!!

What do you do when you are tired of being set up on blind dates? Well, you could do like Beth did and answer your door wearing a ratty bathrobe, looking slightly crazed, with a blacked out tooth! Have I mentioned that I love Beth? She is quirky, and speaks her mind (Apparently lacking a filter) often  landing herself in murky water with her outlandish comments.
This particular date however, has the same idea, and Gabe shows up with a rose in his mouth, and the outrageous comment about only being there for the sex. Much to his surprise, he finds himself yanked inside her house as she reaches for the hem of her gown.
The hilarity ensues from there, and the story only builds. We discover that Gabe has a rather sad past, being a widower, and living out on a ranch alone, while Beth is a divorcee with four kids and an ex who is a major douchebag.
While trying her damnedest to get Gabe into her bed, Beth contemplates the idea of buying a vibrator in an effort to release some of her pent up sexual frustration.
But when her ex turns up dead, and Beth is the prime suspect, will Gabe come through after the huge fight they'd had? Of course, it might help if he had a clue that she was being arrested ...

You guys will not be disappointed with this book! I fully intend to seek out more books by C.C. Coburn, that's for sure!!

A Workplace Affair by Isabella Rae

What a fantastic read! Yes, it is one of the many millionaire/billionaire books on the market, but I absolutely loved the story here.
Victoria is an independent woman, trying to work her way up in the realty company where she works as a secretary.
The owner, Leland, comes down from New York to oversee the buying of some property, and spots the lovely Victoria in a bar one night prior to making his appearance in the office. One look and he is snared. He wants nothing more than to meet this woman, but she eludes him that night, so imagine his surprise when he finds her in his Monday morning meeting!
The chase begins, and he uses his pull as owner to obtain her as his own secretary, anything to keep her as close as possible. He does his best to get to know everything he can about her, but there's one problem with starting a relationship with her ... he's leaving in a few months.
Victoria is seriously attracted to her new boss, and she's finding it hard to hide. He's sweet, attentive, and seems to actually care about her feelings, but he's going back to New York soon. Now she has to decide, should she take what happiness she can--however short-lived it may be--or should she guard her fragile heart and cut out now?
This story kept me riveted from beginning to end. The character development was great, even the secondary characters were given enough page time to make them stand out. If you like a good steamy romance, then be sure to give this story a look. AND IT'S ONLY .99 CENTS!!!!!

Personally, I'm hoping to see Teagan and Sage hook up soon! I think that Sage could definitely take Teagan down a peg or two.

September Tango by Scarlett Jade

First let me start by saying that this is the first title that I have read by Scarlett, and it will certainly not be the last! September Tango is a sweet, heart wrenching, romantic roller coaster that takes you through so many emotions in a matter of mere pages.

We meet Zoe, who is a sweet, small-town girl that was dealt one hell of a rotten hand in life. First off, her longtime boyfriend turns out to me a complete manwhore, who has slept with nearly every woman in town ... including her best friend!! Aaaand let's not forget that said best friend will screw any guy who will let her. SKANK!

Then we meet Calvin, an Army soldier who is home from Afghanistan for 2 weeks of R&R after 5 long years away from home. He recognizes Zoe, but doesn't quite remember where from. All he does know is that he wants her.

Zoe's bad luck just seems to be multiplying, with Calvin being the only bright spot in her days now, yet she knows that he will be leaving soon, and her world will be plunged back into the dark, depressing place it had become before he came along.

But Calvin has a plan ...

Go check out this book and see for yourself! It's an amazing read and one that I absolutely couldn't put down!!

Shelly Laurenson's Magnus Pack series ROCKS!!

I absolutely love these crazy ass females!! These smart-assed southern gals pack a punch in these books and really make their guys work for the honor of claiming them. In Pack Challenge, the first in the series, we meet Sarah, a scarred girl who survived a vicious mountain lion attack as a child. She's lived for the last 20 years with a painful limp and her two insane but loyal friends. Once her crazy grandmother dies, things begin to change for her. The pain is getting worse, her aggression as well, and then she meets a new biker gang in town.
Enter Zach, an alpha wolf in the making and the man assigned to the task of changing Sarah into the wolf she is before she completely loses it. If not for her grandmother, they would have come to her aid sooner, but nobody was willing to go up against the arsenal the old bat had at her disposal, so when she'd finally passed away, they came back.
Now Sarah is exhibiting signs that could put her in danger, because by shifter law, if she goes crazy, they have to put her down. With her inner beast having been trapped inside her whole life, they have their work cut out for them.
How do you explain to someone that they were born a werewolf?
Or that you want them as your mate?

One Lucky Vampire by Lynsay Sands

Let me start off by saying that I have read EVERY Argeneau book she has written ... religiously! I love the characters, and the way they just seem so down to earth and real.
In this story you meet Jake, a rather reluctant vampire who is still a bit peeved about finding himself in his immortal state. However, when he is hired to play bodyguard for his aunt's friend, Jake never expected to gain a treasure that immortals often sought out for centuries ... his life mate!
Now, since Nicole doesn't know he's there for her protection, Jake is trying his best to play the part of her housekeeper/cook while ensuring her safety, though he doesn't have a clue how to cook.
With strange accidents that were happening now becoming more blatant attempts to kill, Jake must find the killer before he manages to take the only thing he holds dear in his new life.

I give this book 5 STARS!! I devoured it in one day, it was that good!

Crossfire Series by Sylvia Day

I cannot say enough good things about this series!! The characters are brought to life in such a way, that you can't help but be sucked into the story and start rooting for Eva and Gideon's HEA.
I have read and re-read this series several times now, and cannot wait for the next book to release! If you liked 50 Shades then you definitely need to check out these books. I promise you won't be disappointed!
